A Workshop,
Not a Factory
Jewelry by Masters was founded on a single conviction: that fine jewelry should be made by hand, one piece at a time, by someone who stands behind their work. We have never operated assembly lines or outsourced production overseas.
Every ring, pendant, and bracelet that leaves our atelier has passed through the same hands — from raw casting to final polish. That unbroken chain of craft is what we mean by mastery.

The Atelier

Our studio sits adjacent to the Diamond District — the center of gravity for fine jewelry in North America. This location is not incidental: our suppliers, gemologists, and clients are all within reach, and the standards around us are the highest in the industry.
Hand Fabrication
We cut, solder, and shape metal by hand. No laser-cut blanks, no injection-molded shortcuts. The result has texture, weight, and character that machines cannot replicate.
3D Blueprinting
For custom commissions, we build a precise digital model before a single gram of gold is cast. Clients review every angle and proportion before production begins.
Stone Setting
Our master setter has specialized in pavé, bezel, and invisible settings for over fifteen years. Stones are placed by hand under magnification.
Final Polish
The last step is always manual. High-polish and matte finishes are applied by hand to preserve the integrity of every surface and edge.

JBM was founded by a master goldsmith trained in the European tradition — a discipline that demands years of apprenticeship before a craftsman is trusted to work independently. That foundation shapes every decision we make, from material selection to delivery.
Our founder continues to personally oversee and finish each piece that carries the JBM mark. No work leaves our atelier without that final review.

by Design
A piece built to last a hundred years is the most sustainable object you can own. We start there, and work backwards.
Recycled Metals
All gold and platinum we use is either recycled or sourced from Fairmined-certified operations. We do not work with newly-mined metals from unverified sources.
Conflict-Free Stones
Every diamond is Kimberley Process certified and sourced through GIA-verified channels. For colored stones, we require mine-to-market documentation.
No Waste Production
Metal filings, failed casts, and polishing residue are all reclaimed and returned to the refiner. Our atelier generates near-zero precious metal waste.
Built to Last
We size, repair, and rework any JBM piece for its lifetime at no material charge. A piece that lives for generations never becomes waste.
Local Supply Chain
Our stone suppliers, refiners, and tool vendors are all within the New York metropolitan area. Short supply chains mean lower emissions and faster accountability.
No Fast Jewelry
We deliberately limit production volume. Fewer pieces, made with full attention, is both an ethical and an aesthetic choice — one we are not willing to compromise.
